Five selectable speeds ranging from 580 to 2,650 r/min allow the operator to match the spindle speed to the material and bit being used, while a 13mm drilling capacity and 1.5–13mm chuck capacity accommodate a wide range of twist drills and accessories. The MT2 spindle taper provides a secure, standardised interface, and 50mm of spindle travel gives sufficient depth for most bench drilling tasks. Safety is addressed through a No-Volt safety release switch, which prevents unexpected restart after a power interruption, alongside a chuck guard to shield the operator during use. A depth stop enables consistent, repeatable hole depths across batch work, and the lockable pulley cover keeps the drive mechanism protected. The motor casing is manufactured in steel for durability in a workshop environment.
