Inconsistent drilling speeds and poor visibility at the workpiece can compromise accuracy and safety in a professional workshop. The Sealey PDM155B bench-mounting pillar drill addresses both concerns with 16 selectable speeds ranging from 190 to 3000rpm, allowing you to match the speed precisely to your material and bit size. A 370W (600W start) heavy-duty aluminium-bodied motor delivers reliable, sustained performance. An integral work light illuminates the drilling table for a clear view of the drilling process (bulb not included), and an electrically interlocked chuck guard is supplied as standard. A no-volt release switch prevents inadvertent start-up, and a microswitch on the pulley cover prevents the drill from operating when the cover is open. The large square table features precision rack and pinion height adjustment. The 16mm (5/8") capacity chuck is MT2 rated, with a spindle travel of 80mm, spindle centre to column of 190mm, and a maximum spindle-to-table distance of 475mm. Overall height is 1050mm and the column diameter is 80mm. Supplied with a 3-year guarantee. An optional keyless chuck (PDM/KC) is available separately.
