Part of a comprehensive range of Premier bench mounting pillar drills, it features a heavy-duty aluminium-bodied motor rated at 370W (600W start) and delivers 16 speeds across a 190-3000rpm range, giving you precise control across a wide variety of materials and bit sizes. The 16mm (5/8") MT2 chuck capacity handles demanding work, while the large square table uses precision rack and pinion height adjustment for accurate, repeatable positioning. Safety is built in at every level: a no-volt release switch prevents inadvertent start-up after a power interruption, a microswitch on the pulley cover stops the drill operating when the cover is open, and an electrically interlocked chuck guard is supplied as standard.
