Q8 Oils T 520 SAE 30 is a mineral heavy-duty monograde engine oil formulated to suit the needs of older generation vehicles with turbocharged engines. It can be used as an engine or transmission lubricant in commercial vehicles, buses, off-highway and construction equipment, or military equipment. The oil is to be used where a monograde engine oil is preferred.
The formulation provides anti-wear capacity, lubrication and engine cleanliness through a special package of additives and detergents/dispersants. The SAE 30 viscosity grade is the warm-side selection in the Q8 Oils T 520 Mono range, suited to general operating temperatures.
Approvals and performance levels include API CG-4; MAN M270; Caterpillar TO-2; MTU Oil Type 1; Allison C-3; and Mercedes-Benz 227.0 and 228.0.
Sister grade Q8 Oils T 520 SAE 10W (PRD00003280 / 2630518032) is also available in the same Q8 Oils T 520 Mono range for cooler ambient operation, and the SAE 30 grade is also available in a 208-litre drum (2630520052) for workshop bulk supply.
