Oil FinderShell Rimula R6 LME Plus 5W-30 is a fully synthetic heavy-duty diesel engine oil featuring Low-SAPS additive technology that delivers protective power alongside fuel economy savings. It is suitable for on-highway heavy-duty applications and is particularly suited to a wide range of trucking and transportation operations with mixed Euro 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 engines.
The product offers fuel economy savings of 3-5% versus reference, maintenance savings through extended drain intervals, low emissions support and piston cleanliness. It is positioned as Shell's next-generation premium synthetic heavy-duty engine oil for mixed-fleet operations.
Approvals and performance levels include ACEA E6; API CK-4; JASO DH-2; MB-Approval 228.51; Volvo VDS-4.5; MAN M3677; Caterpillar ECF-3; Cummins CES 20086; MTU Type 3.1; Deutz DQC IV-18 LA; Renault Trucks RLD-3; Detroit Diesel 93K222; and Scania LDF-4.
Shell Rimula R6 LME Plus 5W-30 is also available in a 209-litre drum (PRD00004463) for workshop bulk supply.
The 20-litre pack format is suited to single-machine top-up and small workshop service. Store sealed in the original packaging, in a clean, dry area away from extremes of temperature, to preserve product performance over its shelf life.
