Shell Rimula R3 10W is a mineral extra-performance monograde heavy-duty diesel engine oil featuring Shell's Energised Protection lubricant chemistry. The active-detergent system helps keep pistons and other engine parts clean, providing protection against wear for long engine life and protection against deposits for efficient engine performance.
The product is suited to off-highway diesel applications and older on-highway diesel vehicles, with particular suitability for construction industry equipment. It is also suitable for some transmission and hydraulic applications, providing inventory simplification on equipment fleets where a single monograde lubricant is used. It is not suitable for 2-stroke diesel engines (Shell Rotella DD+ covers that application).
Approvals and performance levels include API CF and CF-.
Shell Rimula R3 10W is also available in a 209-litre drum (PRD00004133) for workshop bulk supply.
The 20-litre pack format is suited to single-machine top-up and small workshop service. Store sealed in the original packaging, in a clean, dry area away from extremes of temperature, to preserve product performance over its shelf life.
With viscosity index 122 and pour point -33°C, Shell 550032225 Rimula R3 10W CF supports stable lubrication across the operating temperature range and cold-start conditions.
