Oil FinderQ8 Oils Rubens 00 is a semi-fluid lithium-complex grease with extreme-pressure properties, providing pumpability and resistance for temperatures up to 100°C. The grease has a long service life and rust-protection in the presence of water — suiting sealed-for-life gearboxes, central lubrication systems and applications requiring a flowable EP grease.
The NLGI 00 consistency is the semi-fluid grease consistency, much softer and more flowable than the standard bearing-grade NLGI 2.
Approvals and performance levels include DIN 51502 (industrial grease classification); and NLGI 0 (consistency classification).
As with all greases, follow the equipment manufacturer's regreasing schedule and avoid mixing with greases of incompatible thickener type — incompatible thickeners can cause softening, hardening or separation of the grease in service. Store greases sealed in the original packaging, at moderate temperatures and away from direct sunlight, to preserve consistency and additive performance.
Q8 Rubens 00 is a semi-fluid lithium complex grease with extreme pressure properties. The grease has an excellent pumpability and is resistant for temperatures up to 100°C. Q8 Rubens 00 has a long service life and excellent rust-protection in the presence of water. Q8 Rubens 00 is applied in industrial and automotive applications. It is used for chassis lubrication with a centralised system (such as trucks and off-highway equipment). Q8 Rubens 00 is suited as a lubricant for other industrial applications that are not able to retain gear oils due to poorly closed gear cases.

A. NLGI is the universal grease consistency standard every reputable grease meets, ranging from NLGI 000 (semi-fluid) to NLGI 3 (firm). It is your baseline check — match the grade your handbook specifies (e.g., NLGI 2 for most multi-purpose applications) and the grease is technically suitable for your machine. Rubens EP 2 BLUE is NLGI 2 — the standard bearing-grade consistency, distinguished by its blue colour for easy recognition.
A. An OEM Specification is the grease requirement set by a vehicle or equipment manufacturer (e.g., MB 267.0, MAN 283 Li-P 2). When a grease lists the code, the grease manufacturer has developed and tested it to meet the criteria the equipment manufacturer requires.
