The Draper Expert Chain Lever Hoist is designed precisely for these environments, offering a robust solution for controlled lifting and load positioning at a 1500 kg safe working load. At the heart of the hoist is a totally enclosed pinion gear mechanism which protects the working parts from contamination and wear in demanding workshop conditions. Load braking is achieved through double pawls providing positive secure retention of suspended loads. The free chain feature allows the operator to take up slack in the chain before ratcheting begins enabling more efficient and controlled engagement with the load. The hoist is constructed with high quality welded chain and features safety latches on the load hooks reducing the risk of accidental disengagement during use. The load hook aperture measures 36 mm the maximum lift height is 1.5 metres and the unit weighs 11 kg. A test load of 2 has been applied exceeding the rated safe working load of 1. Supplied as a single chain lever hoist this tool is well suited to vehicle workshop and light industrial applications where reliable manually operated overhead lifting is required.
