Shell Gadus S2 V220AD 2 is a high-performance grease designed for bearings operating in harsh conditions. Formulated with high-viscosity-index mineral oil and a lithium/calcium soap thickener, the grease contains additives for extreme pressure (EP), anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion. The 'AD' designation indicates the inclusion of solid lubricants for additional boundary protection under shock loads.
The NLGI 2 consistency is the standard bearing-grade grease consistency, and the V220 designation indicates the ISO VG 220 base-oil viscosity.
