Part of a comprehensive range of Premier floor-standing pillar drills for the professional workshop, the PDM170F features a heavy-duty aluminium-bodied motor rated at 370W (600W start) for long and reliable performance. The 16mm (5/8") chuck capacity with MT2 taper handles a broad range of drilling work, and a no-volt release switch prevents inadvertent start-up. A microswitch on the pulley cover ensures the drill cannot operate while the cover is open, and the machine is supplied with an electrically interlocked chuck guard. The large square table features precision rack and pinion height adjustment for fast, accurate positioning. Overall height is 1,610mm. Spindle centre to column is 170mm. Spindle travel is 80mm.
