The Sealey PDM210F is a floor-standing pillar drill from the Premier range, designed to address these problems with a robust specification built around long-term reliability. The heavy-duty aluminium-bodied motor delivers 370W of power (600W start) and covers a 16-speed range from 190 to 3000rpm, allowing operators to match spindle speed precisely to the material and drill bit in use. The 16mm (5/8 inch) capacity MT2 chuck handles a wide variety of bit sizes, while the large square table with precision rack and pinion height adjustment makes repositioning workpieces straightforward and repeatable. Maximum spindle-to-table distance is 725mm and maximum spindle-to-base distance is 1225mm, with a spindle travel of 80mm and a column diameter of 80mm. The overall height of 1610mm makes this a true floor-standing unit with a base size of 495 x 290mm. Safety is addressed at several points: a no-volt release switch prevents inadvertent start-up after a power interruption, a microswitch on the pulley cover prevents the drill operating with the cover open, and an electrically interlocked chuck guard is fitted as standard. An integral work light illuminates the drilling table for a clear view of the drilling process (bulb not included). The PDM210F is supplied with a 3-year guarantee and runs on 230V single-phase supply. An optional keyless chuck upgrade is available as accessory PDM/KC.
