BG Syncro Shift® II Full Synthetic Gear Lubricant (79032E, 946ml) is a purpose-designed synthetic lubricant for manual transmissions, transaxles, transfer cases and differentials. It is rated API GL-4 and SAE 75W-75, and is compatible with Ford XT-11-QDC (WSS-M2C200-D) fluid specification.
Many vehicle manufacturers suggest using ATF in manual transmissions, but ATF does not provide the full protection that manual transmission gear sets, synchronisers and bearings require under load. BG Syncro Shift® II provides the correct lubrication properties for these components, improving gear engagement, reducing wear and extending component life.

A. BG Syncro Shift is a synthetic API GL-4 SAE 75W-75 gear lubricant for manual transmissions, transaxles and transfer cases. Provides anti-wear protection, low-temperature fluidity, and is safe for steel/brass/copper alloys.
A. Syncro Shift II (PN 792) is the updated formulation with enhanced film strength and expanded OEM coverage. Syncro Shift (PN 790) is the original. For newer applications, II is generally preferred.
A. BG Syncro Shift covers many manual-transmission and transfer-case applications requiring API GL-4 SAE 75W-75. Confirm specific OEM spec against bottle markings or BG technical data before use.
A. GL-5 gear oils have higher EP additive levels that can attack brass synchros in manual transmissions. GL-4 (BG Syncro Shift) is the manual-transmission spec. Use GL-5 (BG Ultra-Guard) only for hypoid diffs.
