BG Syncro Shift II Synthetic Gear Lubricant (79232E, 946ml) is designed specifically for manual gearboxes, transaxles, transfer cases and differentials. Many manufacturers list ATF as a permissible fluid in these applications — but ATF does not give gear sets, synchronisers and bearings the film strength they need under load.
BG Syncro Shift II provides the correct viscosity, film strength and friction characteristics that manual transmission components need. Gear engagement improves, synchroniser wear reduces, and component life extends compared to using ATF as a substitute. It is a fully synthetic formulation rated API GL-4, SAE 75W-75.
Compatibility is broad. BG Syncro Shift II is suitable for use where Ford XT-11-QDC (WSS-M2C200-D) fluid is specified, covering a wide range of Ford passenger car and commercial vehicle manual gearboxes. Always confirm specification compatibility with your vehicle manufacturer before use.
The 946ml bottle covers a single gearbox fill or provides workshop stock for frequent manual gearbox services. Also available in 18.92 litre bulk (SKU: 7925) for fleets and high-volume workshops.
