Castrol Hyspin HLP-Z 32 in the 208-litre drum is a zinc-containing anti-wear hydraulic oil based on highly refined mineral oil enhanced with a stabilised zinc additive system. It is primarily for use in hydraulic equipment but is suitable for other duties in which lubricants with good oxidation stability and lubrication performance are required.
The 'HLP-Z' designation reflects the German DIN 51524 Part 2 (HLP) hydraulic fluid classification with the 'Z' suffix indicating a zinc-containing anti-wear additive system. The ISO VG 32 viscosity grade is positioned for mobile-equipment hydraulics and cool-ambient operations where a lighter hydraulic oil is specified.
Approvals and performance levels include ISO 6743-4 HM; and DIN 51524 Part 2 (HLP).
