JCS itself cautions that zinc-coated clamps can corrode or seize in marine conditions - persistently wet duty calls for stainless throughout.
Worm drive clips seal by drawing the band evenly through a captive screw housing, and the HGS120BP adds the JCS details that make that reliable - a 90-120mm adjustment span, a cold-headed, work-hardened hex screw with rolled threads that will not round off, and fully rounded band edges. Recommended tightening torque for this size is 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in). Manufactured to exceed BS5315, Kitemarked and NATO approved.
The bulk box of 10 puts one corrosion-proof specification across the whole site - every component 18/8 (EN 1.4301) 304 stainless, salt mist tested, with Lloyd's Register Type Approval for marine, offshore and industrial service. JCS stainless clips are used across pumping, stormwater, wastewater treatment and irrigation plant.

A. It adjusts between 90-120mm. Measure the outside diameter of your hose when fitted over its pipe or fitting - if that measurement falls within 90-120mm, this clip fits. JCS clips offer a larger adjustment range per size than typical nut-and-bolt clamps. In imperial terms that is roughly 3 9/16 to 4 3/4 in, covering common 4 and 4 1/2 in hose sizes.
A. JCS recommends 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in) for this size. Position the clip centrally over the hose barb and tighten incrementally to that torque - over-tightening can damage the hose.
A. No mixed metals here - band, housing and screw are all the same stainless grade, and JCS verifies that through salt mist testing. Cheaper clips often pair a stainless band with a plated screw, which is the part that fails first.
