Salt, spray and chemicals make short work of plated steel; a hose clip for that duty has to be stainless through and through.
The HGS90BP is a Hi-Grip worm drive clip adjusting between 70-90mm. Its band edges are fully rounded to protect the hose, and the hex screw is cold-headed and work-hardened with rolled threads, so it resists slipping or rounding under the driver. Tighten incrementally to the recommended 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in); over-tightening is what damages hoses. The range is manufactured to exceed BS5315 and carries the BSI Kitemark and NATO approval.
At 5 clips per box this is the standardisation format for treatment works, boatyards and pump engineers. Specification: 304 stainless (EN 1.4301) throughout, verified by salt mist testing, Lloyd's Register Type Approved. Size each joint by the fitted outside diameter of the hose and tighten in stages to the recommended torque.
Also available - the same clip as a trade bag (HGS90BG); the 60-80mm size (HGS80BP); the 80-100mm size (HGS100BP); a zinc plated version in the same size and pack (HGZ90BP).
Lloyd's Register Type Approval on a stocked bulk pack is rare at any price point.

A. It adjusts between 70-90mm. Measure the outside diameter of your hose when fitted over its pipe or fitting - if that measurement falls within 70-90mm, this clip fits. JCS clips offer a larger adjustment range per size than typical nut-and-bolt clamps. In imperial terms that is roughly 2 3/4 to 3 9/16 in, covering common 3 and 3 1/2 in hose sizes.
A. For this size band JCS publishes a recommended torque of 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in). Work up to it gradually with the clip seated centrally on the barb; going past it risks damaging the hose rather than improving the seal.
A. No mixed metals here - band, housing and screw are all the same stainless grade, and JCS verifies that through salt mist testing. Cheaper clips often pair a stainless band with a plated screw, which is the part that fails first.
