JCS itself cautions that zinc-coated clamps can corrode or seize in marine conditions - persistently wet duty calls for stainless throughout.
The HGS100BG is a Hi-Grip worm drive clip adjusting between 80-100mm. Its band edges are fully rounded to protect the hose, and the hex screw is cold-headed and work-hardened with rolled threads, so it resists slipping or rounding under the driver. Tighten incrementally to the recommended 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in); over-tightening is what damages hoses. The range is manufactured to exceed BS5315 and carries the BSI Kitemark and NATO approval.
The specification is 18/8 (EN 1.4301) stainless throughout - band, housing and screw - carrying Lloyd's Register Type Approval and suited to salt water and other highly corrosive environments. The same clips serve agricultural irrigation, washdown plant and drainage systems. Measure the hose's fitted outside diameter and pick the range that covers it.
Also available - the same clip as a bulk pack (HGS100BP); the 70-90mm size (HGS90BG); the 90-120mm size (HGS120BG); a zinc plated version in the same size and pack (HGZ100BG).
All-stainless construction verified by salt mist testing - made and batch-tested in-house in Sudbury, Suffolk under ISO 9001:2015.

A. It adjusts between 80-100mm. Measure the outside diameter of your hose when fitted over its pipe or fitting - if that measurement falls within 80-100mm, this clip fits. JCS clips offer a larger adjustment range per size than typical nut-and-bolt clamps. In imperial terms that is roughly 3 1/8 to 3 15/16 in, covering common 3 1/2 in hose sizes.
A. JCS recommends 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in) for this size. Position the clip centrally over the hose barb and tighten incrementally to that torque - over-tightening can damage the hose.
A. Yes - every component is the same grade of stainless steel, verified through JCS's salt mist testing, so there is no mixed-metal weak point to corrode first.
