This is the 150-180mm size of the Hi-Grip worm drive range. Where cheaper clips cut their threads and leave sharp band edges, JCS rolls the screw threads for strength and fully rounds the band edges so the hose is protected as the clip bites. JCS publishes a recommended torque of 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in) for this size - seat the clip centrally on the barb and work up to it gradually. Hi-Grip exceeds BS5315 and holds BSI Kitemark and NATO approvals.
Built from 18/8 marine-quality 304 stainless steel and Lloyd's Register Type Approved, this is the clip for joints that live wet. The 10-clip bulk pack keeps a full circuit's worth - and its spares - in one box. Measure the hose's fitted outside diameter, pick the range that covers it, and recheck after high-vibration service.

A. This size spans 150-180mm of fitted hose outside diameter. Measure the hose over its fitting, not the bare bore - anywhere inside 150-180mm and the HGS180BP is the right clip. One JCS size covers a span that would take two fixed nut-and-bolt clamps. In imperial terms that is roughly 5 7/8 to 7 1/16 in, covering common 6 in hose sizes.
A. JCS recommends 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in) for this size. Position the clip centrally over the hose barb and tighten incrementally to that torque - over-tightening can damage the hose.
