Rated at a normal torque load of 157Nm, the Jubo Coupling JC220.101 is a rubber-to-metal bonded flexible coupling with a 143mm diameter (dimension A), designed to transmit drive whilst absorbing torsional shock and reducing vibration in rotating machinery. At this load band, the coupling delivers reliable torque transmission for the lower end of the Jubo range where controlled deflection and vibration isolation take priority alongside load capacity. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction bonds elastomeric and metallic elements into a single integral assembly, providing both torsional flexibility and positive drive retention. Maximum operating speed is 4500 RPM. Key dimensions are: A 143mm, B 46mm, C* 100mm, D 12mm. The coupling is suited to loading in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving the installer flexibility in mounting orientation. Applications span industries including construction and off-highway, agriculture, power generation, marine, railway and mass transit, automotive, and military and defence, wherever vibration isolation of the driveline and protection of surrounding structures is required. By reducing transmitted vibration, the coupling contributes to improved machinery lifespan and improved operator comfort. The JC220.101 sits at the lower end of the Jubo Coupling range. For higher torque requirements or alternative dimensional configurations, the range also includes JC220.102, JC220.1026, JC220.103, JC220.105, JC220.524, and JC220.555. Stainless steel metalwork and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds, together with additional custom sizes, are available on request. This coupling is supplied as a single unit.
