Compact and light-duty by design, the ESS20/40 enclosed spring mounting is built for low-frequency vibration isolation where space is limited and loads are modest. With a maximum load rating of 40 kg and up to 20 mm of deflection, this mount sits at the lighter end of the enclosed spring range, well suited to sensitive installations, lower-load machinery, and applications where a low natural frequency is essential without the bulk of heavier-duty variants. Constructed with rubber-to-metal bonding throughout, the ESS20/40 delivers reliable, repeatable isolation performance. The enclosed design protects the spring element from contamination and mechanical damage, making it appropriate for demanding environments in industries such as marine, power generation, agriculture, and construction and off-highway equipment. The mount may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving engineers flexibility in installation orientation. Key dimensions are: A 76 mm, B 63 mm, C 54–60 mm, D 48 mm, E 38 mm, F 6.5 mm, with an M8 fixing thread. By reducing transmitted vibration, the mount helps extend machinery lifespan, protects surrounding structures, and contributes to improved operator comfort. Custom options including stainless steel metalwork and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers are available on request. Enclosed Spring Mountings are a high-performance product, capable of achieving up to 99% vibration reduction. Enclosed Spring Mounts consist of steel coil springs mounted within a steel cup. The steel cup controls the lateral movement of the mounted equipment and also contains snubbing rubber to control start-up and shut-down movements. Ideal for industrial machinery. The mountings are supplied with a top fixing bolt to allow for leveling after installation and can be supplied with an oil-resistant anti-slip pad under the base.
