Q 1. What is the maximum load rating for the FB21-75 flanged bush?

A. The FB21-75 is rated to a maximum load of 250 kg, making it suited to heavy-duty pivot bearings, cab mounts, engine mounts, and structural linkages where high loads must be carried with minimal deflection.

Q 2. What are the key dimensions of the FB21-75?

A. The FB21-75 is a Figure 2 flanged bush with the following principal dimensions: A 70 mm, B 70 mm, C 39 mm, D 19 mm, E 18.5 mm, F 56 mm, G 10 mm. Parameters H, I, and PCD are not applicable to this figure.

Q 3. Why choose a 75 Shore A grade rather than a softer flanged bush?

A. Harder rubber grades such as 75 Shore A carry higher loads with less movement. Where softer grades provide greater deflection and better vibration isolation at lower loads, a 75 Shore A bush is the correct selection when the application demands firm mechanical restraint, resistance to shock and impact, or heavier static and dynamic loading.

Q 4. What industries and applications is the FB21-75 designed for?

A. The FB21-75 suits demanding applications across construction and off-highway, agriculture, power generation, marine, railway and mass transit, automotive, and military and defence sectors. Typical uses include pivot bearings, mechanical linkages, cab mounts, and engine mounts on off-road vehicles and heavy plant.

Q 5. Does the FB21-75 require lubrication or scheduled maintenance?

A. No. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction is maintenance free and requires no lubrication, reducing servicing requirements and downtime in continuous or remote-operation environments.

Q 6. Are alternative hardness grades or custom configurations available for this flanged bush geometry?

A. Yes. The same Figure 2 flanged bush geometry is available in 45 Shore A (FB21-45) and 60 Shore A (FB21-60) for applications requiring greater deflection or general-purpose mounting. Custom sizes, stainless steel metalwork, and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds are also available on request.

Q 7. How long does delivery take?

A. Standard UK mainland delivery is 3–5 working days. Next-day delivery is available on most products and will appear as an option at checkout where eligible.

Q 8. What is your returns policy?

A. We accept returns within 30 days of purchase for items that are unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Returns are available only for UK-delivered orders and must include proof of purchase. Before returning an item, please contact us at [email protected] to obtain a Return Merchandise Number (RMN).
