A. The FB20-75 is rated to a maximum load of 180 kg. Its 75 Shore A firm rubber grade is specifically suited to heavier loads where minimal deflection and positive location of the mounted assembly are required.
A. The FB20-75 is built to Fig. 2 and carries the following dimensions: A (overall diameter) 70 mm, B (outer sleeve length) 55 mm, C (centre-to-flange depth) 27 mm, D (inner bore) 19 mm, E (inner sleeve length) 18.5 mm, F (flange seating diameter) 56 mm, and G 10 mm.
A. At 75 Shore A, the rubber in the FB20-75 is the firmest grade in the FB20 range. Harder grades carry higher loads with less movement, making this bush the right choice for heavy-duty mounting points, shock and impact absorption, mechanical linkages, and applications where the mounted component must be held firmly in position. Where greater deflection and vibration isolation at lower loads are needed, the 45 Shore A soft grade (FB20-45) or the 60 Shore A medium grade (FB20-60) should be considered instead.
A. The FB20-75 is suitable for pivot bearings, mechanical linkages, cab mounts, engine mounts, off-road vehicles, and military, construction, railway, and mass transit applications. At 75 Shore A, it is particularly well suited to mounting arrangements subject to heavier loads and shock or impact loading across industries including construction and off-highway, agriculture, power generation, marine, automotive, and military and defence.
A. No. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction means the FB20-75 requires no lubrication and is fully maintenance free, contributing to extended service life under dynamic loading conditions.
A. Yes. The bush may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving flexibility in mounting orientation and application design.
A. Yes. Stainless steel metalwork and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds are available on request, along with additional and custom sizes. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
A. The FB20 family is available in 45 Shore A soft (FB20-45) and 60 Shore A medium (FB20-60) in addition to this 75 Shore A firm variant. Related flanged bush families with alternative geometries and load capacities include FB00, FB02, FB10, FB21, FB40, and FB41.
