Carrying a maximum load of 350 kg, the FB40-60 is a 100 mm flanged bush moulded to 60 Shore A, the medium hardness grade that balances vibration isolation against structural support for mainstream general-machinery mounting at moderate loads. Where softer grades prioritise deflection and harder grades restrict movement, the 60 Shore A compound sits at the working centre of the range, making it the practical choice when neither extreme isolation nor maximum stiffness is the primary requirement. Rubber-to-metal bonded construction bonds the elastomer between inner and outer metal sleeves, delivering high durability under dynamic loads and a prolonged service lifespan. Because the rubber is fully bonded rather than mechanically retained, the assembly requires no lubrication and is entirely maintenance free. The bush can be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving engineers flexibility in mounting orientation without penalty to performance or fatigue life.
