Engineered with a 45 Shore A soft rubber element bonded between inner and outer metal sleeves, this 100 mm flanged bush is purpose-suited to lighter or sensitive equipment and lower-frequency isolation duties where maximising compliance and movement under load is the design objective, not stiffness. With a maximum rated load of 225 kg and principal dimensions of A: 100 mm, B: 110 mm, C: 49 mm, D: 28 mm, E: 22.5 mm, F: 74 mm and G: 19 mm (Fig. 2), the FB41-45 sits in the upper range of the flanged bush family, sized for mainstream general-machinery mounting at moderate loads while offering the greatest deflection and isolation performance of the FB41 Shore grades. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction requires no lubrication and is maintenance free, combining high durability under dynamic loads with prolonged service life. The soft 45 Shore A formulation is particularly effective where absorbing low-frequency vibration, protecting sensitive surrounding structures, and improving operator comfort are the primary requirements. Mounts in this series may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving designers flexibility in installation geometry. Typical applications include pivot bearings, mechanical linkages, cab mounts, engine mounts, and equipment used in construction and off-highway, agricultural, power generation, marine, railway and mass transit, automotive, and military and defence environments.
