Compact and suited to lighter-load installations, the RM6070 Rail Mount delivers rubber-to-metal bonded vibration isolation in a 60 mm width by 70 mm height format. Designed for instruments, electronics and light equipment where protecting sensitive items from vibration is the priority, this mount offers reliable isolation across a range of industrial and specialist environments. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction allows the mount to be loaded in shear, compression or a combination of both, providing application flexibility without compromise to isolation performance. As with all mounts in this family, softer rubber grades deliver greater deflection and superior isolation at lower loads, a characteristic particularly well suited to the light-duty orientation of this size. This rail mount is appropriate for many industries including marine, railway and mass transit, power generation and agricultural machinery, where protecting instrumentation and lightweight equipment from vibration extends component lifespan, safeguards surrounding structures and improves operator comfort. For applications requiring oil-resistant or high-temperature rubbers, or stainless steel metalwork, custom options are available on request. This product is the sole size in its specific dimensional band and is engineered for lighter, compact or sensitivity-critical installations. For higher-load or larger-format rail mount requirements, the following companion sizes are available: RM100100, RM10040, RM10050, RM10060, RM10070, RM10080, RM10090 and RM12045.
