The Sealey SM353CE is a 400mm horizontal bandsaw with hydraulic arm damping, a 1500W single-phase motor, and a built-in coolant system engineered to address exactly these problems. The hydraulic damping system prevents the saw arm from being dropped onto the workpiece, protecting both the material and the blade while ensuring smooth, controlled cutting performance. A variable blade speed system with settings of 21, 33, 42, and 59m/min allows the operator to match cutting speed to the material and blade in use. The coolant system prolongs blade life and improves cut quality. An over-current sensor cuts power automatically in the event of blade jamming, adding an important layer of operator safety. The saw bed is precision machined cast iron for stability and accuracy. Cutting capacity at 90° is 228mm round and 228 x 335mm square or rectangular; at 45° capacity is 152mm round and 228 x 152mm square or rectangular. Blade size is 3035 x 27 x 0.9mm and no-load speed is 1400rpm. Supply is 230V, 50Hz single phase.
