The SIP 01599 is an 18-inch, 230V single-phase professional metal-cutting bandsaw designed for trade and professional-grade workshop applications. Powered by a 2hp (1.5kW) motor running on a standard 13A supply, it delivers four selectable blade speeds — 29, 50, 73, and 95 metres per minute — making it well suited to varying material types and thicknesses.
At the heart of the machine is an ultra heavy-duty cast iron bow that reduces vibration and increases accuracy, giving the operator improved cutting results and greater ease of use. A 4-speed belt-driven gearbox provides the flexibility to match cutting speed to material, while a large adjustable vice accommodates large steel sections and supports straight and angle cutting. An adjustable hydraulic ram dampener ensures a smooth, controlled cutting descent and contributes to increased blade performance, and an integrated coolant system both extends blade life and keeps the cutting area cool during prolonged operation. A built-in 24V control circuit provides an additional safety feature for added peace of mind.
Cutting capacities at 90° reach 254mm for round tube and 127mm x 150mm for box section, while at 45° the machine handles 150mm round tube and 150mm x 190mm box section. The bandsaw is supplied with a heavy-duty bi-metal vari-pitch blade that is designed for enhanced durability, long lifespan, and excellent cutting results.
The SIP 01599 is covered by the SIP 2-Year Standard Silver Warranty and is ready to work straight from delivery with the included blade.
