The SIP FIREBALL XD275 Gear Pump Diesel/Paraffin Space Heater (09597) is a wheel-mounted industrial space heater designed to quickly and effectively heat large-sized workshops, garage spaces and warehouse areas. Operating on 230v (13A) single-phase supply and powered by a 550w (0.74hp) motor, the XD275 delivers a maximum heat output of 275,000BTU/hr (80kW), covering an approximate heating area of 1,930mtr³ (68,157ft³).
At the heart of the XD275's temperature management is an integrated thermostat with LED displays showing both room temperature and target temperature simultaneously. The target temperature is adjustable via an infinitely variable dial, and a tethered remote sensor accurately determines the temperature at the desired location. Once the target temperature is reached, the heater switches off automatically, helping to reduce wasted fuel and ensure Energy-related Products (ErP) compliance. An internal safety overheat thermostat provides additional protection against damage.
The XD275 is built for durability and sustained heavy-duty use. A heavy-duty Danfoss gear pump, stainless steel combustion chamber and cast aluminium fuel nozzle holder ensure efficient fuel transfer and effective heat distribution. An external fuel filter provides straightforward access for maintenance and servicing, whilst separate gauges indicate air pump pressure and fuel level. The 80-litre fuel tank supports an approximate consumption rate of 7.5 litres per hour. The heater accepts diesel, paraffin or kerosene fuel. A powder-coated finish and a sturdy full steel frame protect the unit against work area damage.
Mobility across a variety of work area surfaces is provided by heavy-duty pneumatic tyres, making the heater easy to reposition or store when not in use.
