The SIP FIREBALL XD175 (09595) is a wheel-mounted diesel, paraffin and kerosene space heater delivering a maximum output of 175,000BTU/hr (51kW), designed to quickly and effectively heat large-sized workshops, garage spaces and warehouse areas. Running on 230V single-phase supply with a 340W (0.45hp) motor and air pump, it covers an approximate heating area of 1,230m³ (43,437ft³) from a 65-litre fuel tank at an approximate consumption rate of 4.8 litres per hour.
The FIREBALL XD175 features an integrated thermostat for flexible temperature control, with an LED display indicating both room temperature and target temperature. The target temperature is adjustable via an infinitely variable dial, while a tethered remote sensor accurately determines the target temperature. Once the set temperature is reached the heater switches off automatically, reducing wasted fuel and supporting Energy-related Products (ErP) compliance. An internal safety overheat thermostat provides additional protection against damage.
Durable construction is central to the XD175's design, incorporating a stainless steel combustion chamber and a cast aluminium fuel nozzle holder to ensure efficient fuel transfer and effective heat distribution. A powder-coated finish adds long-term resistance to workshop conditions, while separate gauges indicate air pump pressure and fuel level at a glance. A sturdy steel full-frame surround protects the heater against work-area damage and aids manoeuvrability.
The unit is fitted with heavy-duty pneumatic tyres to enable full movement across a variety of work-area surfaces, making it straightforward to reposition between tasks or store when not in use. At 28.70kg net weight with product dimensions of 660(H) × 530(W) × 1,150mm(D), the heater balances substantial heating capacity with practical portability.
