The SIP FIREBALL XD100 Diesel/Paraffin Space Heater (09593) is a wheel-mounted industrial space heater designed to quickly and effectively heat medium-sized workshops and garage spaces. Running on diesel, paraffin, or kerosene, the XD100 delivers a maximum heat output of 100,000BTU/hr (30kW) and is capable of heating an approximate area of 700m³ (24,720ft³), making it a capable solution for demanding workshop environments.
At the heart of the XD100's control system is an integrated thermostat with LED displays showing both room temperature and target temperature side by side. The target temperature is adjustable via an infinitely variable dial, and once the set temperature is reached the heater switches off automatically — reducing wasted fuel and supporting Energy-related Products (ErP) compliance. An internal safety overheat thermostat provides an additional layer of protection against damage. Separate gauges indicate air pump pressure and fuel level at a glance, keeping the operator informed at all times.
Construction centres on heavy-duty components built for long product life, including a stainless steel combustion chamber and a cast aluminium fuel nozzle holder that ensures efficient fuel transfer and effective heat distribution. A powder-coated finish adds further durability across the frame. The 26-litre fuel tank supports an approximate consumption rate of 2.8 litres per hour. The XD100 draws a 230V (13A) supply with a 240W (0.32hp) air pump motor, and the pump type is a dedicated air pump for consistent fuel delivery.
Mobility is addressed through a rugged full-frame steel design that protects the heater against work area knocks, with heavy-duty pneumatic tyres providing confident movement across a variety of workshop surfaces.
