The SIP FIREBALL XD215 (09596) is a wheel-mounted diesel, paraffin and kerosene space heater designed to quickly and effectively heat large-sized workshops, garage spaces and warehouse areas. With a maximum heat output of 215,000BTU/hr (63kW) and an approximate heating area of 1,500m³ (52,972ft³), the XD215 delivers powerful, continuous heating suited to the most demanding commercial and industrial environments.
At the core of the XD215's control system is an integrated thermostat with LED displays that indicate both current room temperature and the user-defined target temperature. The target temperature is set via an infinitely variable dial, while a tethered remote sensor accurately determines ambient conditions at the point of use. Once the target temperature is reached, the heater switches off automatically, reducing wasted fuel and supporting Energy-related Products (ErP) compliance. An internal safety overheat thermostat provides an additional layer of protection against damage.
Construction centres on a stainless steel combustion chamber and a cast aluminium fuel nozzle holder, which together ensure efficient fuel transfer and effective heat distribution. An air pump drives fuel delivery, and separate gauges indicate both air pump pressure and fuel level at a glance. The powder-coated finish adds long-term durability, while the sturdy full-frame steel construction protects the heater against work area damage. Heavy-duty pneumatic tyres provide outstanding mobility across a variety of surfaces. Running on a standard 230V (13A) supply with a 340W (0.45hp) motor, the unit carries a 65-litre fuel tank and an approximate fuel consumption rate of 5.7 litres per hour.
