The SIP FIREBALL XD50F Diesel/Paraffin Space Heater (09590) is a portable floor-standing unit designed to quickly and effectively heat medium-sized workshops and garage spaces. Running on diesel, paraffin or kerosene, it operates on a standard 230v (13A) supply and delivers a maximum heat output of 50,000BTU/hr (15kW), covering an approximate heating area of 350m³ (12,360ft³).
At the heart of the XD50F is an integrated thermostat system that provides precise and flexible temperature control. LED displays show both the current room temperature and the user-defined target temperature, which is adjustable via an infinitely variable dial. When the target temperature is reached, the heater switches off automatically, reducing wasted fuel and supporting Energy-related Products (ErP) compliance. An internal safety overheat thermostat provides an additional layer of protection, preventing damage to the heater during operation.
Construction quality is a defining characteristic of the XD50F. A stainless steel combustion chamber and cast aluminium fuel nozzle holder ensure efficient fuel transfer and effective heat distribution, whilst the powerful air pump and powder-coated outer finish contribute to long-term durability. The 18-litre fuel tank, combined with an approximate fuel consumption rate of 1.4 litres per hour, allows for extended heating sessions between refuels. A fuel level gauge is fitted as standard, and the motor draws just 230w (0.3hp) during operation.
Portability is addressed through a compact floor-standing form factor measuring 430(H) x 320(W) x 800mm(D) and a strong-grip carry handle, making it straightforward to move the unit between locations within a workshop or site environment.
