The SIP FIREBALL XD140 (09594) is a wheel-mounted diesel, paraffin and kerosene space heater delivering a maximum output of 140,000BTU/hr (41kW) and designed to quickly and effectively heat large-sized workshops, garage spaces and warehouse areas. With an approximate heating area of 1,060m³ (37,434ft³), the XD140 provides powerful and continuous heating for demanding industrial and commercial environments.
At the heart of the XD140 is an integrated thermostat system that offers flexible temperature control via LED displays showing both room temperature and target temperature. The target temperature is adjustable using an infinitely variable dial; once the set temperature is reached, the heater switches off automatically, helping to reduce wasted fuel and ensure Energy-related Products (ErP) compliance. An internal safety overheat thermostat provides an additional layer of protection against damage to the unit.
The XD140 is built for durability and long product life. Construction highlights include a stainless steel combustion chamber, a cast aluminium fuel nozzle holder for efficient fuel transfer and effective heat distribution, and a powder-coated finish for added resilience. Separate gauges indicate air pump pressure and fuel level at a glance. The heater runs on a 230V (13A) single-phase supply, drawing 340W (0.45hp) for the air pump motor, with a 65-litre fuel tank and an approximate fuel consumption of 3.8 litres per hour.
A rugged full-frame steel construction helps protect the heater against work-area damage and aids mobility. Heavy-duty pneumatic tyres allow full movement across a variety of work-area surfaces, making the XD140 straightforward to reposition when not in use. The unit weighs 28.70kg net and measures 660(H) × 530(W) × 1,150mm(D).
