Corroded, overtightened, countersunk, and painted screws can bring a job to a complete standstill forcing the head and wasting valuable time. The Sealey VS0291 Air Hammer Impact Driver is designed to tackle exactly these problem fixings without stripping the head. Used in conjunction with a standard air hammer operating at low pressure, the tool accepts a 5/16" (8mm) hex bit via a .401" Parker Taper shank. The air hammer's vibration does the hard work shaking the screw loose while you apply rotation through the handle. This combination of vibration and rotation breaks the grip of corrosion, paint, or over-torquing without damaging the fastener head. The result is a clean, controlled removal of fixings that would otherwise require drilling out or other destructive methods. Please note that bits are not included with the VS0291. This tool is ideal for automotive, agricultural, and general workshop applications where seized or painted fixings are a common challenge.
