Exocet Etha-Protect is a storage and protection additive for petrol, supplied here in the 100ml pack. It is aimed at fuel that sits for long periods, equipment used only occasionally, and situations where ethanol content is a concern.
Stored petrol discolours, forms gums and deposits, and loses ignition quality. Fuel ageing is irreversible and is accelerated by bio-components, to the point where latest specification fuels may have a shelf life of only six to eight months. Etha-Protect carries a high dose of antioxidant to delay that, holding off discolouration and gum formation and maintaining ignition quality. It also cleans injectors and carburettors and keeps them clean, improves throttle response, increases fuel economy, controls combustion chamber deposits and protects against ethanol-based corrosion.
Dose at 50ml of additive to 50 litres of fuel. It is intended for small storage tanks or directly in the vehicle or machinery fuel tank. Use it where fuel turnover is slow, where equipment stands between uses, or where ethanol compatibility and engine cleanliness matter. It suits generators, mowers, chainsaws and similar equipment that stands between jobs, and any petrol stock that will not be turned over within a few months.
