Q 1. Which fuel does Anti-Wax treat, and at what rate?

A. Diesel and gas oil, at 1 litre of additive to 1,000 litres of fuel.

Q 2. Can I add it once the fuel has already waxed?

A. No. It must be used as a preventative measure and will not work if the fuel is already waxed - it acts on wax crystals as they form.

Q 3. At what temperature should I add it?

A. Above the fuel's cloud point, which is around +3°C for summer grades and -5°C for winter grades. In practice, fuel above 6°C in winter and above 10°C in summer.

Q 4. How much colder can treated fuel run?

A. Treated EN590 winter diesel reaches a CFPP of -26°C against a -15°C specification. Fuel-specific testing is needed if you require a guaranteed minimum operability temperature.

Q 5. How do I get technical advice before ordering?

A. Our team can advise on fuel grade suitability and dose rates. Contact us with your fuel type and tank volume and we will confirm the right product.
