Oil FinderShell Gadus S3 V100 2 (formerly Shell Albida Grease RL 2) is a premium multi-purpose extreme-pressure grease for high-temperature service. The lithium-complex thickener provides extra protection and high-temperature performance, with the ISO VG 100 base oil suiting bearings operating at higher speeds where heavier base oils would generate excess churning resistance.
The NLGI 2 consistency is the standard bearing-grade grease consistency.
Approvals and performance levels are positioned within the standard NLGI 2 lithium-complex premium EP grease class.
As with all greases, follow the equipment manufacturer's regreasing schedule and avoid mixing with greases of incompatible thickener type — incompatible thickeners can cause softening, hardening or separation of the grease in service. Store greases sealed in the original packaging, at moderate temperatures and away from direct sunlight, to preserve consistency and additive performance.
