Oil FinderShell Gadus S3 T100 2 (formerly Shell Stamina Grease RL 2) is a polyurea-thickened premium grease for extreme-temperature multi-purpose service. The polyurea thickener provides exceptional high-temperature performance and long service life compared to standard soap-thickener greases — making the product suited to electric motor bearings, sealed-for-life bearings and other applications operating at sustained elevated temperatures.
The NLGI 2 consistency is the standard bearing-grade grease consistency. The V100 designation indicates the ISO VG 100 base-oil viscosity.
Approvals and performance levels are positioned within the polyurea premium grease class.
As with all greases, follow the equipment manufacturer's regreasing schedule and avoid mixing with greases of incompatible thickener type — incompatible thickeners can cause softening, hardening or separation of the grease in service. Store greases sealed in the original packaging, at moderate temperatures and away from direct sunlight, to preserve consistency and additive performance.
Gadus S3 T100 2 (NLGI 2 grade) is a high technology greases designed to give optimum performance for grease lubrication in industrial bearings. They are based on mineral oil with a special diurea thickener to give long life, low wear and shear-stable properties at high temperatures.
