Product Number: INF6
Some tools and applications need cleaner air than the main air treatment unit delivers. The GAV INF6 in-line filter, part of PCL's in-line air treatment range, adds that extra filtration on top of your existing system, at 10 micron, without changing the main unit.
It has 1/4 inch ports, a maximum inlet pressure of 12 bar and a flow rate of 2,100 l/min at 6 bar. The transparent polycarbonate housing lets you see the condition of the filter at a glance, and it works in temperatures from -10°C to 50°C.
PCL advises mounting air treatment as close to the tool as possible and choosing a unit with more flow capacity than the tool needs. Most industrial equipment and tools such as impact wrenches only need 10 micron filtration, so the INF6 covers them without the extra pressure drop of a finer filter.
For tools that also need oil, pair it with the INL6 in-line lubricator downstream, as lubrication goes after filtration. For a full filter with a drain bowl, see the PCL ATF6.
