Variations
Moisture, contaminants and unregulated pressure in a compressed air line cause tool wear and inconsistent performance. The PCL ATCFRL12 is a combined Filter/Regulator/Lubricator (FRL) unit with 1/2" ports, rated for output pressures from 0 to 12 bar (0–170 psi) against a maximum working pressure of 16 bar, and capable of flow rates up to 5,000 litres per minute. It is designed to control output air pressure, eliminate moisture and contaminants from the air supply, and lubricate connected tools during use. The unit filters the air line to 10 microns, reducing particulate contamination before it reaches downstream tooling. Polycarbonate bowls allow the operator to monitor the condition of the filter element and the level of collected liquid without disassembly. A protective metal surround encloses each bowl as a safety measure against excessive pressures, temperatures, or aggressive chemicals. With a 1/2" port size and a flow capacity of 5,000 l/min, the ATCFRL12 is suited to higher-demand workshop installations where air quality and consistent pressure are critical to tool life and output consistency. The unit forms part of PCL's Air Treatment range, produced in Sheffield since 1938 and part of HORNGROUP.
