The blade is manufactured from high-quality steel with a hardened M3 steel cutting edge that is welded to a tough alloy steel body. This welded bi-metal construction reduces the risk of shattering and makes the holesaw highly durable and hardwearing in demanding workshop conditions. The holesaw delivers a maximum cutting depth of 35mm (1-3/8"") and features four side slots to aid removal of the slug during and after cutting. A female threaded spindle accepts a 9.5mm arbor allowing straightforward attachment to a power drill for efficient heavy-duty use. When cutting metal the use of a suitable cutting lubricant is advisable to prolong service life.
