The Draper 41088 is a heavy-duty variable pitch bi-metal holesaw designed for cutting wood, steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, aluminium and plastic. Its hardened M3 steel cutting edge is welded to a tough alloy steel body, a construction that reduces the risk of shattering and delivers a fast, clean, heavy-duty cutting action even in stubborn materials. The holesaw achieves a maximum cutting depth of 35mm (1-3/8"). Four side slots aid removal of the cut slug, and a female threaded spindle accepts a standard 9.5mm arbor, allowing straightforward attachment to a power drill. Variable pitch tooth geometry contributes to smooth, accurate cutting across the range of supported materials. When cutting metal, use of a cutting lubricant is advisable to prolong service life. Draper Stock No. 76109 Metal Cutting Lubricant 400ml is a suitable option. Supplied as a single 76mm holesaw blade.
