The Draper 41090 HSS Bi-Metal Holesaw Blade, 89mm is a variable pitch bi-metal holesaw engineered for exactly that purpose, suitable for use on wood, steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, aluminium and plastic. The blade features a hardened M3 steel cutting edge that is welded to a tough alloy steel body. This construction combines the hardness required for fast, clean cutting with the flexibility needed to resist shattering — extending the working life of the blade across demanding applications. Maximum cutting depth is 35mm (1-3/8"). Four side slots are incorporated into the body to assist with slug removal, keeping the cut clear and the blade free during operation. A female threaded spindle allows straightforward attachment to a 9.5mm arbor, making the holesaw compatible with standard power drills for a fast, heavy-duty cutting action. When cutting metal, the use of a cutting lubricant is advisable to prolong service life.
