Cutting accurate, clean holes in tough materials demands a blade engineered for the task. The Draper 34768 is a heavy-duty variable pitch bi-metal holesaw designed for use in metals including steel, brass, bronze, cast iron and aluminium, as well as plastics and wood, making it a versatile choice for workshop and site applications. The blade features a hardened M3 steel cutting edge welded to a tough alloy steel body. This bi-metal construction reduces the risk of shattering under load and delivers a durable hardwearing tool suited to sustained heavy-duty use. The variable pitch tooth geometry supports a fast clean cutting action across a range of materials. Four side slots aid removal of the cut slug keeping the cut zone clear during operation. The holesaw features a female threaded spindle compatible with a 9.5mm arbor allowing straightforward attachment to power drills. Maximum cutting depth is 35mm (1-3/8""). When cutting metal use of a lubricant is advisable to extend service life; Draper Stock No. 76109 Metal Cutting Lubricant 400ml is suitable for this purpose.
