The variable pitch design supports fast, clean, heavy-duty cutting in metals including steel, brass, bronze, cast iron and aluminium, as well as plastics and wood, to a maximum cutting depth of 35mm (1-3/8"). Four side slots assist slug removal, keeping the cut clear and reducing the need to stop and clear the blade. The female threaded spindle accepts a 9.5mm arbor, making it straightforward to attach to a power drill for efficient use on site or in the workshop. With a cutting diameter of 70mm, this holesaw is well suited to electrical, plumbing and fabrication applications where a precise, repeatable hole is required. When cutting metal, use of a suitable lubricant — such as Draper Stock No. 76109 Metal Cutting Lubricant, 400ml — is advisable to prolong service life.
