The Draper 41084 HSS Bi-Metal Holesaw Blade is a heavy-duty, variable-pitch bi-metal holesaw designed for cutting wood, steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, aluminium and plastic with a fast, clean cutting action. The blade is manufactured with a hardened M3 steel cutting edge that is welded to a tough alloy steel body. This welded bi-metal construction delivers exceptional durability and hardwearing performance whilst significantly reducing the risk of shattering during use. The maximum cutting depth is 35mm (1-3/8"). Four side slots are incorporated into the body to aid removal of the slug, keeping the cutting zone clear. A female threaded spindle allows straightforward fixing to a 9.5mm arbor, enabling rapid attachment to power drills for efficient, heavy-duty cutting through even stubborn materials. When undertaking metal cutting operations, the use of a suitable lubricant is advisable in order to prolong the service life of the holesaw. Draper Stock No. 76109 Metal Cutting Lubricant (400ml) is recommended for this purpose.
