Where a seized, rusted clip means cutting the joint apart, specifying stainless from the start pays for itself at the first service.
Worm drive clips seal by drawing the band evenly through a captive screw housing, and the HGS280BP adds the JCS details that make that reliable - a 250-280mm adjustment span, a cold-headed, work-hardened hex screw with rolled threads that will not round off, and fully rounded band edges. Recommended tightening torque for this size is 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in). Manufactured to exceed BS5315, Kitemarked and NATO approved.
The bulk box of 5 puts one corrosion-proof specification across the whole site - every component 18/8 (EN 1.4301) 304 stainless, salt mist tested, with Lloyd's Register Type Approval for marine, offshore and industrial service. JCS stainless clips are used across pumping, stormwater, wastewater treatment and irrigation plant.
Also available - the 230-260mm size (HGS260BP); the 270-300mm size (HGS300BP); a zinc plated version in the same size and pack (HGZ280BP).

A. It adjusts between 250-280mm. Measure the outside diameter of your hose when fitted over its pipe or fitting - if that measurement falls within 250-280mm, this clip fits. JCS clips offer a larger adjustment range per size than typical nut-and-bolt clamps.
A. JCS recommends 6.0 Nm (54 lb-in) for this size. Position the clip centrally over the hose barb and tighten incrementally to that torque - over-tightening can damage the hose.
