Balancing vibration isolation against structural support, the FM8027-60 capped flanged mount is engineered for the broad middle ground of general machinery mounting where moderate loads and controlled deflection are both required. With an 80mm flange diameter, M8 thread, and a 60 Shore A rubber element, this mount accepts up to 110 kg and delivers 7 mm of deflection, figures that make it well suited to equipment operating under sustained, everyday loads rather than the extremes of either delicate instrument isolation or heavy shock restraint. Constructed using rubber-to-metal bonded technology, the FM8027-60 resists the loosening and separation that mechanical fixing alone cannot prevent. The capped flange design protects the fixing interface and contributes to a clean, stable installation. As with all mounts in this family, the element may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, giving installers flexibility in orientation to suit the application. The 60 Shore A grade sits at the practical centre of the range: softer than the 75 Shore variant yet firmer than the 45 Shore option, so it neither yields excessively under load nor transmits vibration through an overly stiff rubber body. The FM8027-60 is suited to mainstream industrial and mobile machinery across construction and off-highway, agricultural, power generation, marine, and railway environments, as well as automotive and military and defence applications. It improves machinery lifespan, protects surrounding structures from vibration fatigue, and contributes to operator comfort.
A high-quality rubber compound moulded in between two metal flanges with a secondary metal interleaf bonded into the rubber section. The metal interleaf increases the maximum load capacity of the mountings, meaning they are capable of withstanding significantly higher loads.
