Q 1. What is the maximum load rating and deflection for the FM100-75?

A. The FM100-75 is rated to a maximum load of 147.0 kg and has a deflection of 6.5 mm at that load. This low-deflection, high-load characteristic reflects the 75 Shore A firmness of the rubber element.

Q 2. What fixing size and flange configuration does the FM100-75 use?

A. The mount has two fixing holes accepting M10 fasteners. The overall footprint is 110 mm × 136 mm (D × E dimensions), with a 2 mm flange thickness (F) and an 11.5 mm fixing-hole dimension (G).

Q 3. Why choose a 75 Shore A grade rather than a softer grade in the FM100 range?

A. Shore hardness governs the trade-off between vibration isolation and load-carrying rigidity. A 75 Shore A mount carries higher loads with less movement than softer grades, making it the correct selection when the primary requirement is to restrain heavier machinery, resist shock or impact, or limit movement under load rather than to maximise vibration attenuation.

Q 4. In which loading directions can the FM100-75 be used?

A. As with other mounts in this family, the FM100-75 may be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both, depending on the installation orientation.

Q 5. Which industries and applications is the FM100-75 suitable for?

A. The mount is suited to construction and off-highway equipment, agricultural machinery, power generation sets, marine installations, railway and mass transit systems, automotive applications, and military and defence platforms — wherever a firm, high-load flanged mount is required.

Q 6. Are alternative materials available for harsh or specialist environments?

A. Yes. Stainless steel metalwork and oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds are available on request. Custom and additional sizes can also be specified on request.

Q 7. What other Shore grades and flanged mount variants are available?

A. The FM100 family includes FM100-40 (softer grade, greater deflection) and FM100-60 (medium grade). Additional flanged mounting options with different load envelopes and fixing configurations are available as FM007, FM1500, FM1566, FM200, FM209, and FM25.

Q 8. What is your returns policy?

A. We accept returns within 30 days of purchase for items that are unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Returns are available only for UK-delivered orders and must include proof of purchase. Before returning an item, please contact us at [email protected] to obtain a Return Merchandise Number (RMN).

Q 9. When will my order be dispatched?

A. In-stock orders placed before 14:30 Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same day.

Q 10. When will my order be dispatched?
