Engineered to hold firm under heavier loads and absorb shock and impact, the RSM406-70-70 is a 70 Shore A rectangular sandwich mount rated to carry 310 kg with a deflection rate of 2.8 mm per kilogram, the firmest grade in the rectangular sandwich mount family and suited to applications where movement must be minimised. At 90 mm × 40 mm (A × B dimensions), with a C dimension of 36 mm, D of 54 mm, E of 74.5 mm, F of 6.8 mm, and G of 3.5 mm, this is the largest footprint in the range and delivers the highest load capacity of any grade in the series. Constructed with rubber-to-metal bonding throughout, the RSM406-70-70 can be loaded in shear, compression, or a combination of both. Its firm 70 Shore A rubber compound limits deflection under load, making it effective where structural rigidity and positional control matter as much as vibration attenuation. The rubber-to-metal bonded construction contributes to extended machinery lifespan, protects surrounding structures from vibration-induced fatigue, and improves operator comfort in mobile and fixed plant. This mount is well suited to heavy industrial plant, power generation equipment, agricultural and off-highway machinery, marine installations, railway and mass transit applications, military and defence equipment, and automotive assemblies where high-load restraint and shock resistance are primary requirements. For applications demanding oil-resistant or high-temperature rubber compounds, or stainless steel metalwork, custom configurations are available on request.
